Each depot shows a code on a screen, usually at the gate or entrance. You scan it once when you arrive to check in, and again when you finish to check out.
Scanning in Adhoc
Open your round and choose to scan. Allow Adhoc to use your camera, then line up the code inside the frame. Adhoc checks it with the depot and confirms you are checked in, with the time it was recorded.
Using your phone's camera instead
If the scanner will not open, or you refused camera access, open your phone's own camera app and point it at the code. It brings you straight back into Adhoc to confirm.
Checking out
Before you can check out, tell Adhoc how many parcels you delivered. Read how to report your parcels. Then scan the check-out code on the depot's screen.
If a scan does not work
- That code has expired: the code changes every 30 seconds. Scan the one on screen now.
- That code has already been used: each code works once for you. Scan the current one.
- You have no job at this depot today: check you are at the right depot, on the right day, for a round you are assigned to.
- That code wasn't issued by Adhoc: you scanned something else. Scan the code on the depot's Adhoc screen.
Scanning needs an internet connection. Do not assume you are checked in until Adhoc shows a confirmation. If you still cannot scan, speak to the depot and contact support.
