What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in the same way. In this policy we call them all cookies.

Some are strictly necessary for the site to work, and the law lets us use those without asking. Everything else needs your consent first, and nothing optional is set until you give it.

Your choice

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies. Accept and Reject carry the same weight, and rejecting does not change anything you can do on the site. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page. We ask again after 12 months.

Strictly necessary

• adhoc-cookie-consent (local storage, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner does not ask on every page.

Analytics (optional)

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful, so that we can improve the site. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are.

• _ga (2 years): distinguishes one visitor from another.
• _ga_<container id> (2 years): keeps track of a visit.

Google processes this data as our processor and may transfer it outside the UK under the safeguards described in our privacy policy. If you reject analytics, these cookies are never set, and if you change your mind later they are deleted.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies. The waitlist form and our fonts are served from our own website and do not set cookies.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, the site will ask for your cookie choice on every visit.

Changes to this policy

If we start using a new cookie, we will add it here, update the date at the top, and ask for your consent again where it is needed.
