Choose Post a job from your Home screen or the Jobs tab. Drivers see the terms exactly as you write them.
What you fill in
- Depot: which of your depots the driver collects from.
- Collection date: the day of the round.
- Arrive from and arrive by: the collection window. We use it to remind the driver and to warn you if they have not checked in.
- Parcels: how many are on the round, up to 80.
- Van size: Small (1 to 5 parcels), Medium (6 to 30) or Large (31 to 80). Only drivers with a van at least this size can apply.
- Areas: the postcode districts the driver will deliver to, such as ME4 or ME10. Use the first part of the postcode only.
- Pay: what the whole round pays, in pounds. Adhoc shows its 8% commission and what the driver receives.
- Notes: anything the driver should know, such as where to park.
Draft or publish
You can save the job as a draft and come back to it. Nothing is visible to drivers until you publish, and you can edit a job only while it is a draft. Each job gets a reference, such as ADH-JOB-0142.
To publish, choose Pay and post. You pay the round's full price there and then, and the job goes live as soon as the payment clears. Read how depots pay.
Once it is live
Drivers near your depot can see and apply for the job. We email you when someone applies. Read how to choose a driver.
