After you create an account and choose Depot, Adhoc asks for seven things:
- Business name: drivers see this on every job you post.
- Company number: 8 characters, such as 12345678 or SC123456. We check it against Companies House. Skip it if your business is not a limited company.
- Main contact: the person a driver or a reviewer reaches when something needs sorting.
- Contact phone number: a UK mobile or landline. It is used for job issues, and drivers only see it once they are assigned to one of your rounds.
- Depot locations: the name, address and postcode of every depot drivers collect from. You can add more later.
- Payment details: how you pay for jobs. Nothing is charged at this step. Read how depots pay.
- VAT number: 9 digits, with or without GB. Skip it if you are not VAT registered.
Submitting the last step sends your application to Adhoc, and you get a reference such as ADH-DEP-0192.
The review
A person at Adhoc checks your details, including your company against the current Companies House record. We email you as soon as there is a decision. If we need something changed, the app shows the reviewer's note and you can submit again. Read what happens after you apply.
Once you are approved, you can post your first job. Read more about safety and verification.
