Payments

How do depots pay?

Depots pay each job's full price when they post it, by Apple Pay, Google Pay, card or account credit. Anything not delivered is refunded.

You pay for each job when you post it. There is no invoice to wait for and no account to settle later.

Paying

When you choose Pay and post, Adhoc shows the job total and what you have to pay. You can pay with:

  • Apple Pay or Google Pay, in one tap;
  • a card, new or saved;
  • account credit, which is used first if you have any. Read about account credit.

The job goes live as soon as the payment clears. If the payment does not go through, nothing is taken and you can try again.

What the price covers

The price you set is everything you pay. Adhoc's 8% commission comes out of the driver's side, and the job screen shows how it splits.

Getting money back

Refunds happen on their own:

  • Fewer parcels delivered: you get back the difference, once the count is approved or settled.
  • You cancel before the driver checks in: you get everything back.
  • A driver does not turn up and you close the round: you get everything back.

Credit you used comes back as credit first, then the rest goes back to your card.

Saved cards

Save a card under Account then Payment methods and it is ready the next time you pay. Card numbers go straight to our payment provider, Stripe. Adhoc never sees or stores them. You can remove a saved card at any time.
