Payments

How and when do couriers get paid?

Adhoc pays you for the parcels you deliver, minus 8% commission, by bank transfer. The due date is shown on each round.

You are paid by Adhoc, not by the depot. The depot pays Adhoc for the round in full when it posts it, so the money is already there.

How much

Every round shows what you receive if you deliver every parcel: the depot's total pay minus Adhoc's 8% commission. If you deliver fewer parcels, you are paid pro rata. For example, on a round paying £200 for 40 parcels:

  • deliver all 40 and you receive £184 (£200 minus £16 commission);
  • deliver 36 and you receive £165.60 (£180 minus £14.40 commission).

There is no payout for a no-show.

When

  1. You report your delivered count and check out.
  2. The depot approves the count. If it disputes it, Adhoc sets the final figure.
  3. Your payout is due by the date shown on the round, which is 14 days after you checked out. A slow approval does not move this date.

Adhoc sends the payout by bank transfer to the account under Account then Bank details. It can take a few working days to reach you after it is sent. We email you when it is sent.

Seeing your payouts

Open Payouts from your Home screen. It shows what you are owed, what has been approved this week, what you have been paid so far, and each payout with its reference and due date. Rounds still waiting on the depot show as Not yet approved.

You need to add your bank details before Adhoc can pay you. If a payout fails, we email you: contact support and we will send it again.
